Important Updates from Club Captain

Greetings.  Hope your golf season is going well so far. We had a super day for our Classic tournament on Sunday, June 3.   A few notes for your information:
Course conditions
Due to the fairway conditions, ON THE FAIRWAY ONLY, if your ball comes to rest on a dry patch you may place your ball on the nearest grassy area, no closer to the hole.  This does not apply in the rough or on the green.  This local rule will be in effect for league and competition play until further notice.  This will also apply if you are hosting Marshall and Podersky competitions at Millwoods.
Booking Tee Times
We remind 9 hole players that you are not to register for golf prior to 9:30 a.m. for Day Ladies, and not prior to 4:30 p.m. for Business Ladies.  Thank you for your consideration.
Scotch 2-Ball Tournament
A reminder that registration for the next mini tournament, Scotch 2-Ball, closes Thursday June 14.  Tournament is on June 26.  A handicap is required for this tournament.
Better Ball Tournament
Registration for the Better Ball, our next weekend tournament, will be open June 12.  Tournament is on Sunday, July 8 and you sign up with a partner.   You register by paying the $15  fee per player in the pro shop. A handicap is required for this tournament.  More details can be found on the tournament poster which will go up June 12.
