Yes, Spring is in the air and with it comes the excitement of knowing the 2021 golf season is just around the corner. Mill Woods Golf Course opens for golf April 2 and the driving range opened March 18. The Mill Woods Ladies Golf Club is expecting to start club play on May 4 but that will be further confirmed along with what our league will entail.
To join the club see our Membership Information page for all the details and a link to the registration form. We welcome additional members as we do still have some spots available.
The Pro Shop will be open with the discount passes available along with this year’s new inventory. Marty and Warren are back in the Pro Shop and we welcome Hall Thomlinson as the new Teaching Pro. Please see the Mill Woods Golf Course website for 2021 rates for passes and power carts.
As restrictions change, we will continue to update our members through email and website. Customers are required to wear masks inside any of the facilities.
Mill Woods has 75 new Yamaha gas carts this year. Mill Woods will still be allowing single cart use but encourage golfers to be two to a card when you have arrived together or are in your cohort group. This will save on the wear and tear of the golf course and carts and also is better for the environment. There will not be additional charges for riding single while Alberta is in a pandemic.
The restaurant, hut and cart will be opened at the appropriate time following AHS guidelines. We are still not sure about having tournaments and large groups are not allowed in the Clubhouse at this time.
